Texts from Ponyville
FAQ

So here are a few guidelines for anyone who might be interested, along with some questions we receive quite often.

1) How do you get the ponies on your blog?

You get the ponies on your blog by going here.  You select your ponies and then whether you want them to roam free or put them into a pen.  The site will give you an html code which you can paste into your blog description to get the ponies onto your blog.  The site lets you do as many as you like, but really 2 or 3 is the max unless you wanna start crashing people’s browsers.

2) What do the numbers in parenthesis mean?

The numbers in parenthesis on each text are the area code that the text is from.  TFLN uses these to make the texts more searchable, therefore I use them, too.  It also better identifies the blog as a Texts From Last Night blog, as most all of the TFLN based blogs tend to do that.  It also makes it easy to have a readily searchable tag (see the drop down list) for people to find texts from their area.

3) What do the numbers with a + mean?

Two digit numbers with a + sign in front of them are international numbers.  Same things apply as with all the others, they’re just from overseas.

4) Can I submit texts that are not from TFLN?

Yes, of course! You can submit any texts to us with either a screencap or a description of the scene you had in mind, just leave a note on the submission if you wish to remain anonymous.

5) How are submissions and area code requests handled?

All submissions and area code requests are done in the order in which they are received.  When me or any of the other mods sit down to do the submissions and area codes, we always do submissions first.  After submissions we work on area code requests.  We post 3 pics for every area code request we receive.

6) What are the fonts you use for the texts?

A masterlist of fonts can be found here.  The colors I use are the colors of the speaking pony’s coat
